Small Polyp Stony Corals (SPS)
Small Polyp Stony corals, also known as SPS corals, are stony-structured corals with smaller, less fleshy polys than LPS corals. They require very clean, nutrient-poor aquarium water. SPS corals typically prefer strong water flow and require a superior and well-monitored lighting source. They are the most sensitive of the coral groups and the hardest to keep. Read More
